With a reputation for transformative live shows, a chart-topping debut album and over 200 million global streams to date, alt-folk/rock Irish trio Kingfishr have become one of the most talked-about new acts on the planet. Powered by rousing hooks that spark mass singalongs at sold-out shows across Europe, North America, and their native Ireland, the trio have spent the past year scaling new heights. Now it’s Australia’s turn, Kingfishr bringing the Halcyon Tour to Australia in March 2026 – proudly presented by Frontier Touring.
Having shared stages with Bruce Springsteen, James Bay, Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra, Tom Walker and Snow Patrol, and performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Electric Picnic, Isle of Wight and Rock Werchter, Kingfishr’s rise has been built on the strongest of foundations: word-of-mouth fervour by fans who quickly embraced the group’s soaring, emotive songs, rousing live performances, and distinctive blend of Irish storytelling with widescreen indie-pop hooks.
Crashing into the charts with the phenomenal multi-times Platinum ‘Killeagh’, which spent ten weeks at #1 on the Irish Singles Chart and 27 weeks in the Top 10. In August, Kingfishr followed up with their eagerly anticipated debut album Halcyon, which features current single ‘Diamonds & Roses’, and had fans in Sydney and Melbourne selling out listening parties in two of the cities’ iconic venues. Built on lead singer Eddie Keogh’s raw baritone vocals, soaring climaxes and introspective slow-burners, the album cemented the band’s reputation and stands as a striking statement of intent from a group that bridges the dynamics of contemporary indie-rock with the soul of their traditional roots.
December sees the band perform their biggest London shows to date, with two shows at O2 Kentish Town Forum. A second night at Dublin’s 3Arena was quickly added, after the first 13,000 capacity gig sold out straight. In 2026, Kingfishr will play their biggest shows to date across 6 outdoor arena and stadium shows in Ireland totalling over 100,000 tickets, as well as dates at London’s iconic Brixton Academy.
Simultaneously personal and communal, nostalgic and forward-looking, Kingfishr are on a rapid ascension to arenas worldwide. Don’t miss this chance to catch them in intimate theatre when they land in Australia next March!
